My name is Nick King, and I live with my lovely wife and three daughters in Harrow, on the north-west outskirts of London, England.
I'm into computers (well Macs really), motorbikes, a bit of gardening - mainly bonsai, and now astrophotography.
I've always been interested in space and astronomy, and in 2003, spurred on by my Dad's interest and the upcoming closest approach of Mars, I bought myself a scope and started learning about this cool hobby.

The sky is never completely dark here in Harrow, but dark enough for my little scope to do its thing. The other problem I have, is that the smog and light pollution of London are right in the way of my best view in the garden (east to south-east). So no ideal views can really be had here, except from my bedroom (see image above), but that's no good for the scope.
